Campaigning to improve communities
Education Campaigns
Shrewsbury and Atcham Liberal Democrats have campaigned strongly to get a new secondary school built for Shrewsbury, as many parents are now unable to get places in their area.
NHS Campaigns
The Shrewsbury and Atcham Liberal Democrats have continually campaigned for better consultation over GP Hub plans, maintaining a bus stop at the Hospital and have provided suggestions for improving ambulance wait times (led by Bernie Bentick).
Transport Campaigns
We have continually campaigned against the North West Relief Road and to make our roads safer, for example by championing the school streets campaign and to try and ensure there is a dedicated coucil budget for Active Travel.
