Shrewsbury’s hospital bed crisis

Dr Charles West has until recently been chairing a campaign group pressing for Community Hospital Beds in Shrewsbury.

This group has no political affiliation and welcomes support from all parts of our local community.

Support for the Community Beds Campaign Group should not be taken to assume support for any particular political party.

In order to maintain cross-party support Dr West announced at the launch meeting on Saturday that he would be standing aside from chairing this group for the duration of the General election Campaign.

The chair will be taken by Dr Terence West, who is no relation of Dr Charles West, and who is not a member of the Liberal Democrats.

The Petition reads

"We, the undersigned, urge Shropshire County PCT to seek funding for Community Hospital Beds in Shrewsbury."
